The New Willow Bay - Year 3 Fall 3 - Spacek

Welcome back to the new Willow Bay.  Previously, Nicole Bruty and Ash Hamilton got together and Nicole accidentally discovered the identity of her birth father.  Now, the Spaceks...

Wesley: When I was a young man, I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life.  I was new to Willow Bay and trusted someone I shouldn't have with a secret.  I was dumb and I was horny.

Wesley: Too many strange things had happened in town recently and I feel like I'm to blame.  I should have never said anything to her.  Now she's on a war path and sims are dying.

Wesley spent countless hours at night keeping an eye on every online forum he knew of that dealt with alien abductions and conspiracy theories.  Most of what he found was low-tier shitposting, but once in a while a sim would include too many details that gave away that they were a real abductee.  That's when he had to intervene.

He knew the routes the pollination technicians took around SimEarth and could intercept ships that were near Willow Bay.  The technicians were lazy and would rather fulfill a quota above all else.  If you signaled them, they would beam you up.  That is, unless a head technician was in charge of the mission.  Then it was less about numbers and more about selecting specific sims.

Alxjnstn05: Hey guys.  In Willow Bay.  Got beamed up after a strange green cat appeared.  Was there for hours before they sent me back.  Not as cold as a lot of you described...

Wesley kept reading until he saw the definitive line...

Alxjnstn05: They had this weird cow-plant hybrid that they were milking.  They gave the milk to one of their elders and he turned into a teenager.  Super surreal.  Anybody else see this thing?

Wesley wasn't proud of covering up for his people, but if she saw this then this kid would be dead in a week.  He hacked into the Johnston family computer and crashed it for Alexander Johnston's safety.

He couldn't bear to tell his kids their burden.  Being an alien on SimEarth was hard enough as an individual without having to be responsible for the actions of an entire extraterrestrial community.

Catalina only knew half truths.  It's why he was grateful she stayed with him after the cheating.  If she exposed even one detail about his people's technology, it would be chaos.

Wesley's newest son, Brock, was the result of an encounter with a different technician than Vivienne's.

As soon as Brock was put to bed, Wesley ran outside to signal a nearby ship.

He needed answers as to whether or not Alexander Johnston's abduction was a fluke and, in exchange, he would have to give birth to another pure alien child.

Prof. Catalina: At this rate, we won't have room for our own kids.

Wesley: Please just help me up.

Theodore was the next of the Spacek kids to have a birthday.

It coincided with Vivienne's.  At any given moment, the kids of the house were running around and furniture needed to be rearranged to accommodate them.

Wesley: Here's a little known fact about SmartMilk, Theo.  Our people, the space people, invented it.  It comes from a really special but dangerous plant.  In fact, many special objects are powered by the juice of this plant.

Theodore: Gah...

Vivienne was the first pure alien born in Willow Bay.  Apart from Brock, the rest of her siblings (Skye Nolan, Isaac, and Theodore) were all half-aliens.

She seemed to learn things at a quicker pace.  She was maxing skills left and right and it didn't even seem to phase her.

Brock would probably be the same.

Prof Catalina: So I reached the top of the adventure career last night.

Wesley: Hmm?

Prof Catalina: Are you even listening to me?

Wesley: Sorry, I'm just distracted.

Prof Catalina: If I'm going to help you raise all these kids, you need to tell me what happened on that ship.

Wesley: Okay... I asked about why they abducted Alexander Johnston.  They told me that it was due to my negligence.  I was too liberal with information.

Prof Catalina: Not to kick you when you're down, but you were 18 and made a huge mistake.  You thought telling this girl about the origin of the elixir of life was going to get you laid and it did.  But I still don't get how this 16 year old ties in.

Wesley: Apparently, what he wants in life is something she has connections to.  Once he heads to college, the Motherlode Society will take him in and they're hoping that he can eventually become a double agent and take her down.

Prof. Catalina: They're expecting him to do all that?  He's just a kid.

Wesley: A kid who wants to be a mobster for some stupid reason.

Before fall was over, Wesley gave birth to his third pure alien child: Lester Spacek.  Lester shared the same technician as Vivienne.

Theodore also grew into a child around the same time.

Wesley knew he was lucky to have Catalina throughout all of this and wished that he had never taken her for granted before.
