The New Willow Bay - Year 2 Summer 2 (Part 3)

Welcome back to the new Willow Bay.  This is the third part of the summer rotation for year 2.  I'm well on my way to a population of 5000, which is good news for this neighbourhood.  Just need 10x that to finish the challenge.

Opening this update is a picture of Prometheus Borg and Benito Diaz in their home, Llama Manor, over at Boolprop College.  I probably won't touch the college until the 5th part of this rotation, but I just wanted to make sure this picture was cleared from my queue.

The real update begins at the Tse household.  While Michelle works, Alan King raises their two kids.

Michelle manages to do me proud and reach the top of the business career meaning I have another tycoon in town.

The celebrate, her and Alan continue to help him cheat on his wife, Brenda.

Although it doesn't look like their cheating will lasts much longer.

Damn.  I was hoping he would die by electrocution.

Alan: Excuse me?

No!  Not another fire ghost!

Thank you, Maura Simpson, for saving me from having another red ghost in town.

Alan: Zzz...

So close.

David Tse grows into a child without a cake.

David: Not fair.

Be grateful you aren't in the spontaneous combustion house.

To try and boost my business districts, Michelle buys a community lot dubbed Tse-King Kitchen Supplies.

Since she isn't the type of sim who wants 5 top businesses, it really is just an excuse to let it get to level 4 and then leave it... potentially forever.

Daniel and David wasting their childhoods skilling for future scholarships.

It's a girl!  This is the newest addition to the family: Delilah Tse.

Despite surviving an electrocution and a fire, Alan King cannot survive the inevitable and passes away from old age.

His kids do not take it well.

But I don't care and make them skill until it's time for fall.

The Johnston family has the smallest update of the rotation as Alexander's teenage birthday won't happen until Year 3 Fall 3.

First, Camryn reaches the top of the journalism career.

Then Shea reaches the top of the athletic career.  Both are now perma-plat.

Alexander spent the rotation working on his body and creativity skills because he lacks the personality traits to give him those boosts.  Camryn and Shea didn't bother to use ACR to create another baby for themselves, so I respected their wishes.  Looks like this one will remain an only child.

Over at the King household, Brenda does not take the news well that her husband died.  Even though they were separated, she still loved him.

Anthony didn't seem to care.  The only way it impacted him was that his mother was too indisposed to get him fresh bottles.

Brenda wanted to rebound, so I set her up with Erik Futa, the tinkering hobby sim.

They have two bolts, so the power of ACR made it easy for them to get together.

He moved in and it turns out he is also a family sim, albeit one who wants to have 6 grandkids.  Since Brenda wants to graduate three kids from college, he needs to provide her with at least two and hopefully they can in turn provide him said grandkids.

Because King wasn't her maiden name, Brenda takes on Erik's when they got married in the dirty kitchen.  They are now the Futas and the household only carries on the King name because of Anthony.

Since I have a few positions open in the field, I make Erik take a job in Law Enforcement so this family can make some money.

He also gets a makeover to look less like a spaz.

Anthony grows up.

He still doesn't care that his dad is dead.

Seriously.  Not even bothered.

Once again, the stinky kitchen becomes a symbol for the Futas as Brenda gives birth to a daughter, Elizabeth.

And then gets right to work on making another kid with her new husband.

Fall pic?  Yup.  The King-Futa family has completed their rotation.  This is where I will end this update so I can do my stats update and see where I'm at:
