Camryn had been on the waiting list for one of Christy Stratton's cats for ages when she finally got the call that one was available.
Queenie was dropped off by a local by-law officer that evening, but something strange came with her.
No one knew how he got there. This strange, green and white cat who just kind of... stared at everyone. At first, Camryn thought he had just rolled around in the grass. After a closer look, the green was in fact his fur.
Queenie didn't seem to mind.
The family named him Citrus.
The arrival of Citrus coincided with Alexander's teen birthday. Despite wanting to be close to his family, his strong desire for knowledge was what influenced him to ultimately want to be a criminal mastermind.
The sudden interest in crime took a turn into conspiracy theories which then took a turn into aliens. Alexander found himself down a rabbit hole.
Alexander: Dad, do you think that Citrus could be an alien from another planet?
Shea: I... he's a cat. Son, let me check your pupils. Have you been blowing bubbles?
Maybe the alien conspiracies shouldn't be thrown out just yet.
The night of Alexander's abduction, Queenie began to give birth to kittens.
Two kittens were born, Blackberry and Lime. Neither of them seemed to have any of Citrus' unique colouring.
After his encounter with the aliens, Alexander began looking for other abductees to discuss the experience.

Needless to say, something caused the computer to get a virus and crash that same day.
Looking to branch out, Camryn purchased a community lot nearby.
As a Media Magnate, 'Zine Press became the unofficial store for her media empire (along with video games and balloons for variety).
Despite a negative review, the store got up to level 5 before winter-time.
Things started to quiet down around the house as winter came. Alexander stopped worrying about Citrus and his abduction experience drifted to the back of his mind while he prepared for college.
